Emma Victoria Tagliabue was born in Toronto, Canada, and has always dreamed of being a performer and is now on her way to becoming a true triple threat. She has numerous credits and awards for her singing, acting and dancing, as well as some film credits. Emma’s film credits include Trap, a Warner Bros film by M. Night Shyamalan where she was cast in the role of “Singer”, and a Short Film which premiered at the Toronto Pen Dance Film Festival called NO IDEA from Malachi Ellis Productions by Kel Kitagawa, in which she was cast as a “Student” and “Dancer”.
Emma Victoria has numerous Musical Theatre credits. Her first appearance on stage was as Greta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at age 5 and then in the same year as a Salon Girl in In the Heights, both full productions live at the Vaughan City Playhouse. Emma performed as Peter Pan in Peter Pan and Annie in Annie in fully staged productions at the Richmond Hill Performing Arts Centre. She has also performed as the Sea Horse in a full stage production of The Little Mermaid at the Bolton City Performing Arts Centre, and as the Narrator in Joseph & the Technicolor Dreamcoat Junior. In June 2023, Emma appeared as Isabela Madrigal in the fully staged production of Encanto Junior at Vaughan City Playhouse.
Emma performed the role of Wickersham and Brother in Suessical the Musical with Randolph College for the Performing Arts at the Annex Theatre. Recently, Emma was cast as Mason in the musical School of Rock for EMP Productions with 8 performances at the Meadowvale Theatre in 2024. She performed in the cast of EMP’s 60th Anniversary Concert, “Love is an Open Door,” as a soloist in April 2026.
Emma studies singing, acting, dance, piano and guitar, and has performed in all of those disciplines. Emma has won 1st Place at the Ontario Music Festival Association (OMFA) for Speech Arts in 2025, 2nd Place for Songs from the Screen in 2023 and four Honourable Mentions across multiple genres (Musical Theatre, Songs from the Screen, Pop and Classical) recently, and has been invited to compete again for 2026. She has also won ten 1st Place Awards at regional music festivals across Ontario. In 2025, Emma won the Founders Award, Best in Speech Arts Trophy and Best in Musical Theatre Trophy at the Pickering Rotary Music Festival.
Emma continues to develop her skills by participating in many high level workshops and training programs such as the Children’s Commercial and Improv Workshop with Gloria Mann & Phatt Al, Audition Prep Masterclass Series by JJ Dance Arts, Mini Pop Kids Boot Camp Workshops, and Senior Triple Threat Musical Theatre program and Voice Over Camp by Randolph Kids Performing Arts. Emma has worked with high level professional acting coaches Tom Diamond and Christopher Healy.
Emma has received first place awards at the Star Catchers Dance Competition, and at The Luv2Dance Competition, where she also received 2nd Place Overall Performer and a Most Valuable Competitor Award, awarded for the highest scoring soloist. In April 2026, at the Bedazzled Dance Champions Competition, Emma won Bedazzled Diamond Awards and first place overall for her Tap Small Group, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary Large Groups. She will also compete at two more dance competitions in May 2026: Elite Dance Challenge and The View Dance Challenge.
In 2026, Emma became a semifinalist in the Long & McQuade Singing Contest with John Santos and placed 4th in the Open Mic Canada Champion Finals Ontario singing competition. Emma will compete at the OMFA Provincial Competition in the categories of Musical Theatre, Pop, Songs from the Screen and Speech Arts in June 2026.
